Contractors don't onboard themselves.

Pre-qualification with insurance, safety performance and reference checks. Document-expiry tracking. Per-job scope acceptance. Contractors only see work they're qualified for — and only after every required document is current.

The problem

The biggest HSE gap is the people you don't employ.

Statutory liability sits with you, even when a contractor's painter falls off a ladder you didn't supply. ENSURE's Contractor module pre-qualifies firms (insurance, safety performance, references), tracks expiry on every required document, and only shows them the work they're accepted for.

Pre-qualification workflow

A self-service portal where the contractor uploads insurance, completes the safety-performance questionnaire (LTFR, TRFR, fatalities last 3 years), provides references. ENSURE verifies, your admin reviews, decision recorded.

  • Self-service portal — contractor does the work
  • Insurance + WC + public liability uploads
  • Safety performance + reference questionnaire

Document expiry alerts

Insurance renewal coming up? Contractor notified 60 days out, admin sees the dashboard. Lapse → automatic suspension. No quiet expirations where the contractor keeps working with an expired policy.

  • 60 / 30 / 7-day alerts to contractor + admin
  • Auto-suspension on expiry — no work assigned
  • Reinstatement workflow on document refresh

Per-job acceptance with scope

A pre-qualified contractor isn't accepted for every job — only the scopes you accept them for. Electrical, structural, painting. They see jobs in their scope; they don't see jobs outside it. No accidental scope creep.

  • Scope tags per contractor (electrical / structural / etc.)
  • Job listing filtered to accepted scopes
  • Per-job acceptance signed before work begins
